The Eastside and Westside will square off on Saturday when Hazelwood West and Hazelwood East meet at 1:00 PM. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Hazelwood West and Hazelwood East will really light up the scoreboard.
Hazelwood East might be getting used to good results now that the squad has three wins in a row. Everything came up roses for them against McCluer last Saturday as the squad secured a 48-6 win. Followers of Hazelwood East probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected four blowout victories.
Meanwhile, Hazelwood West didn't have too many spare points in their match with McCluer North, but they still walked away with a 38-32 victory.
Their wins bumped Hazelwood West to 5-3 and Hazelwood East to 6-2. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
