Meanwhile, Round Rock made easy work of Cedar Ridge on Friday and carried off a 56-35 victory. Given Round Rock's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 101st, while Cedar Ridge is ranked 212th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Vista Ridge's loss was their tenth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-26. As for Round Rock, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-12.
