The Lewisville Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 24 points or more this season. They took their match on the road on Friday with ease, bagging a 47-11 win over North Central. The win was just what Lewisville needed coming off of a 60-15 defeat in their prior contest.
It was another big night for Aiyana Murrell, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 19 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Lewisville's points. Mariah Wallace was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with six steals.
Lewisville's victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-2. As for North Central, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
Lewisville will be playing at home against C.A. Johnson at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Central, they will head out on the road to face off against Andrew Jackson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Andrew Jackson focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Friday.
