Crescenta Valley will be defending their home turf for the first time on Thursday when they go up against Santa Fe in at CV HS at 3:15 PM. Crescenta Valley will be strutting in after a win while Santa Fe will be stumbling in from a loss.
Last Thursday, Crescenta Valley had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 26-15 victory over Redondo Union.
Meanwhile, it's no fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose by a single point. Just ask Santa Fe, the unfortunate recipient of a 17-18 defeat at the hands of Fullerton last week.
Santa Fe's loss took them down to 1-1 while Crescenta Valley's triumph pulled them up to write [team] current record. A win for Santa Fe would reverse both their bad luck and Crescenta Valley's good luck. We'll see if Santa Fe manages to pull off that tough task or if Crescenta Valley keeps their momentum going instead.
