Memphis Nighthawks are packing up and hiking across state lines for their matchup on Friday. They will challenge Lighthouse Christian on the road at at Kickapoo High School at 7:00 PM. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Memphis Nighthawks' and Rossville Christian Academy's contest last Friday was close at halftime, but Memphis Nighthawks turned on the heat in the second half. Memphis Nighthawks were fully in charge, breezing past Rossville Christian Academy 58-19. Memphis Nighthawks were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Meanwhile, Lighthouse Christian put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season. They took the game and then some with a 48-0 victory over Riverton. With Lighthouse Christian ahead 22-0 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Their wins bumped Lighthouse Christian to 4-0 and Memphis Nighthawks to 1-3. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both teams put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up.
