Despite the loss, Lutheran-Northeast got a solid performance out of Delaney Rose-hancock, who scored 13 points. Kealy Ranslem was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Meanwhile, Hartington-Newcastle waltzed into their contest Tuesday with three straight wins but they left with four. The stars were shining brightly for them in a 37-22 victory over Boyd County.
Lutheran-Northeast's loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-9. As for Hartington-Newcastle, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.
