Garrett Nowlan, Charlotte Catholic's leading rusher, solidified his role on Friday. Nowlan did his part (and then some), rushing for 93 yards and a pair of scores for the 'W'. He also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because Charlotte Catholic is undefeated when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 3-4 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Nowlan and Charlotte Catholic will head out on the road to take on Watauga at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Nowlan has dominated as far as rushing yards are concerned (he's averaged 101.7 per game this season), but he's got his work cut out for him considering the Pioneers have only allowed 93.7 per game this season.
