The Titusville Rockets are on the road again  on Friday to play the Hickory Hornets at 4:00  p.m.
 Two weeks ago, Titusville fell victim to a  rough 14-5 loss at the hands of Stewarts Creek.
  Kameron Mong made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  went 1-for-3 with a  triple, two  RBI,  and a  run. The team also got some help courtesy of  Brett Schmidt, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Hickory gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener  on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  6-4  victory over Conneaut Area.
  Alex Flickinger was  incredible,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with a  home run and two  RBI.  Joey Cidila was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
 Titusville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Hickory, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
