The Manning Monarchs had to endure  a  three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Waccamaw by a score of  58-46  on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Manning also won the last time the pair played  back in February of 2023.
  Tavion Carter continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines,  dropping  a double-double on 28 points and 19  rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  he has scored all season.  Lovell Stevenson was another key contributor,  scoring 12 points along with six  rebounds.
 Several Warriors players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Dutch Kerns, who  scored 12 points along with two  steals. Kerns hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Another player making a difference was  Tyrese Haynes, who  scored ten points along with four  steals.
 Manning's victory bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Waccamaw, their defeat was  their seventh straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 5-14.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Manning the luxury  of staying home another  game and will welcome Aynor at 7:30  p.m.  on January 26th. Aynor will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps South Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 284th, while Manning is ranked 120th). As for Waccamaw, they will look to defend their home court  on Friday against Georgetown at 7:30  p.m.
