New Rockford-Sheyenne had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They steamrollered North Prairie co-op [Rolette/Wolford/Rolla] 44-0.
Meanwhile,, Benson County [Leeds/Maddock] couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were given a punishing 14-56 defeat at the hands of Surrey.
