The Manor Mustangs's four-game losing streak came to an end on Thursday. They walked away with a 50-37 victory over Clemens. The win was all the more spectacular given Manor's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 432nd, while Clemens is ranked 187th).
Clemens lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Anaya Williams, who scored 14 points along with eight steals. The contest was Williams' sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Duda Igiehon, who scored six points along with 12 rebounds and three blocks.
Manor's win bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Clemens, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-8.
