Elbert County had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 57-39 victory over the Stephens County Indians. Given the Blue Devils' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 30th, while the Indians are ranked 437th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Elbert County's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-1. As for Stephens County, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-16 record this season.
