After failing to score in their last match, Gridley made sure to put some goals up on the board against Corning on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 5-1 margin over the Cardinals. Gridley might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by three goals or more this season.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Gridley, bringing their record up to 9-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those four matchups. As for Corning, with the loss, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 10-2.
