The Central Wisconsin Christian Crusaders won the last time they faced the Heritage Christian Patriots, and things went their way on Thursday too. Central Wisconsin Christian came out on top against Heritage Christian by a score of 57-44.
Heritage Christian's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Amanda Pike, who scored 13 points. The contest was Pike's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Morgan Bluhm, who scored 8 points along with 4 steals.
The victory got Central Wisconsin Christian back to even at 2-2. As for Heritage Christian, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Central Wisconsin Christian will head out on the road to face off against Oakfield at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Oakfield presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Central Wisconsin Christian in Wisconsin (Oakfield is ranked 88th, while Central Wisconsin Christian is ranked 254th). As for Heritage Christian, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Milwaukee Reagan at 1:30 p.m. on December 2nd.
