If the Cassville Wildcats were feeling good off their 64-32 takedown of the Diamond Wildcats on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Cassville was beaten by Webb City 81-43 on Friday. Cassville was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 54-24.
Holton Keith was his usual excellent self, scoring 21 points along with eight steals for Webb City. Those eight steals set a new season-high mark for him. Barron Duda was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with four steals.
Cassville's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Webb City, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
Cassville will head out on the road to face off against Branson at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Webb City will be home for the holidays to greet Seneca at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
