The Thompson Tommies won the last time they faced Langdon/Edmore/Munich, and things went their way on Monday too. Thompson took down Langdon/Edmore/Munich 64-46. The win made it back-to-back wins for Thompson.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Thompson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gavin Krogstad, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds. That's the first time this season that Krogstad scored 15 or more points. Karter Peterson was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with eight rebounds.
Thompson has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season. As for Langdon/Edmore/Munich, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Thompson will challenge Four Winds/Minnewaukan at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Four Winds/Minnewaukan will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. As for Langdon/Edmore/Munich, they will head out on the road to take on North Border co-op [Walhalla/Pembina] at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
