Basketball Recap: First Coast Takes a Loss

First Coast and Mandarin squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but First Coast had to settle for second. They lost 55-33 to the Mandarin Mustangs. The defeat continues a trend for the Buccaneers in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now lost six in a row.

Reese Holman continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Mandarin, putting up 20 points and three steals. Efredia Wesee was another key player, posting 11 points.

First Coast's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Mandarin, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.

First Coast does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Mandarin has already played their next contest (against Oakleaf), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
