East Ridge extended their postseason success on Thursday against Windermere. They narrowly escaped with a  win as the  squad sidled past the Wolverines  7-6. Winning may never get old, but the Knights sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
 Sariah Espada spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned  (and four unearned) runs on six hits and racked up nine Ks.
 At the plate,  Olivia Shoemaker and  Lilly Land did most of the damage at the plate:  Shoemaker  went 2-for-3 with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double, while  Land  went 1-for-3 with one  home run and two  RBI. That's the most  hits  Shoemaker has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was  Kaitlyn Halley, who  went 2-for-4 with two  RBI.
East Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 21-5. As for Windermere, their loss dropped their record down to 14-11.
As of now, neither East Ridge nor the Wolverines have any future games scheduled.
