It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Bountiful had no problem doing just that on Friday. They came out on top against the Hunter Wolverines by a score of 7-4. The victory was nothing new for the RedHawks as they're now sitting on four straight.
Ella Miller was a major factor no matter where she played. She pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Isabeau Hoff was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. McKinley Duryea also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
Bountiful was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .438. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hunter only posted a batting average of .174.
Bountiful's record now sits at 26-4. As for Hunter, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-17.
