The biggest upset of the week belonged to Williams County co-op [Tioga/Ray], who took down 27th ranked Watford City/Alexander/Johnson Corners Christian Academy, 28-26.
Stanley/Powers Lake extended the longest winning streak in A Region 3 this week by beating New Town, 50-0. The victory was the seventh in a row for the team.
Des Lacs-Burlington's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Lakers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Austin Schestler has thrown for 616 yards and seven touchdowns this season, while Tanner Holte has 11 catches for 177 yards. Andrew Flick leads the league in rushing with 523 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Stanley/Powers Lake takes on the Firestorm. Lyne Enget's team is currently in first, while Williams County co-op [Tioga/Ray] is in fourth.
The Bluejays took down the Eagles 50-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
