After a string of three wins, Washington Union's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Fowler Redcats by a score of 3-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Redcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 last Wednesday.

While Washington Union ultimately came up short, they really made Fowler work, particularly in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 17-25, 21-25, 28-26, 15-10.

Washington Union's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5-1. As for Fowler, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.

Coming up, Washington Union will square off against Sanger West at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fowler, they will challenge Corcoran at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
