The McNair Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Chavez Titans at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Chavez took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on McNair, who comes in off a win.
Last Friday, McNair didn't have too much trouble with the Delta Kings on the road as they won 60-46. The victory was just what McNair needed coming off of a 90-38 loss in their prior game.
Meanwhile, Chavez had to suffer through a rough 96-38 loss at the hands of the Cougars. Chavez was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 55-21.
McNair's victory bumped their record up to 9-17. As for Chavez, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-16.
McNair beat the Titans 55-45 in their previous meeting back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for McNair since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
