Baseball Recap: Seabury Comes Up Short

It was a good run, but Seabury unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Molokai Farmers by a score of 7-6. The Spartans were not able to make up for their defeat to the Farmers from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Seabury saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Asher Halick, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. Halick is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played. Duke Dodge also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Seabury's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Molokai, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

While Seabury had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
