Tipton extended their road winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Mackenzie Farinella. The Blue Devils put the hurt on the Elwood Panthers with a sharp 53-33 victory on Tuesday with plenty of help from Farinella, who dropped a double-double with 25 points and 11 boards. Thanks to that strong game, she now owns an excellent 48.4% shooting accuracy.

Another player making a difference was Makayla Schinlaub, who posted nine points along with seven steals and five rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last eight games she's played dating back to last season.

When it comes to explaining why Elwood lost, don't look at Breelyn Norris. Despite the final result, she scored 26 points in addition to six boards and five steals. That was a full 78.8% of the Panthers' points, marking the seventh time in a row Norris has earned more than a third of the team's points.

Tipton now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Elwood, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tipton will welcome Clinton Central at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs' defense has only allowed 27.5 points per game this season, so the Blue Devils' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Elwood, they will be playing at home against Madison-Grant at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will be up against the Argylls' rather soft defense (which has allowed 62.5 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
