The Page Sand Devils scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. Couldn't have asked for a better start to 2024 than the 76-44 blowout they got on the road against Bourgade Catholic. Considering Page has won five games by more than 19 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
It was another big night for Tyree Stingley, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds. The game was his seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Bryce Williams, who scored ten points along with seven assists and seven rebounds.
Page's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-5. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.5 points per game. As for Bourgade Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-8.
Page will be playing at home against Chinle at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bourgade Catholic, they will head out on the road to face off against Northwest Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Northwest Christian presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Bourgade Catholic in Arizona (Northwest Christian is ranked 80th, while Bourgade Catholic is ranked 308th).
