The Fort Wayne Wayne Generals waltzed into their game on Saturday with three straight wins but they left with four. They enjoyed a cozy 80-66 victory over Arthur Hill. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fort Wayne Wayne to victory, but perhaps none more so than HJ Dillard, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 13 rebounds. Dillard hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for six straight games. Jevon Lewis was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 12 assists.
Fort Wayne Wayne has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. As for Arthur Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fort Wayne Wayne will square off against Fort Wayne Bishop Luers at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Arthur Hill, they will head out on the road to square off against Bay City Western at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bay City Western will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings (they are ranked 323rd, while Arthur Hill is ranked 42nd).
