Barrett Wilke and Co. Win 21st in a Row
Stanton picked up their 21st consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Barrett Wilke. Wilke was dynamite, rushing for 162 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, while also throwing for 85 yards and two touchdowns. His rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 14th straight game with at least 124 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Stanton pushed their record up to 8-0 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. Wilke and Stanton will take on Clarkson/Leigh at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Michael Koenig Delivers Electric Effort Vs Elkhorn Valley
Michael Koenig's big game helped extend Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard]'s winning streak to four on Friday. Koenig was unstoppable, rushing for 85 yards and three touchdowns, while also throwing for 101 yards and two touchdowns.
On the year, Koenig has thrown 22 touchdowns while averaging 174.4 passing yards per game.

King's longest rush was for an impressive 50 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

The second Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] player making an appearance here is Alec Schindler, and for good reason. He rushed for 12 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 35 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Elkhorn Valley had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Schindler it was a similar story. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Schindler saw the Falcons), he picked up 129 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 30 yards and a touchdown.
