WF West is 9-1 against the Bobcats since February of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The WF West Bearcats will look to defend their home court against the Aberdeen Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. WF West is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.
Last Tuesday, WF West strolled past the Tigers with points to spare, taking the game 49-33. Given WF West's advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 124th, while the Tigers are ranked 331st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Even though Aberdeen has not done well against the Highclimbers recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Aberdeen had just enough and edged the Highclimbers out 54-52.
Aberdeen can attribute much of their success to Jhacob Quezada, who scored 12 points, and Manny Garcia, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds. Charlie Ancich was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five rebounds and two steals.
WF West has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for Aberdeen, their win bumped their record up to 7-12.
Everything came up roses for WF West against the Bobcats in their previous matchup back in January as the squad secured a 62-22 victory. With WF West ahead 37-12 at the half, the match was all but over already.
