The Cooper Cougars will square off against the Greenwood Rangers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Cooper has three straight wins, Greenwood has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
It was a proper cat-fight when Cooper duked it out with Horn on Friday. Cooper put the hurt on Horn with a sharp 11-2 victory. Considering the Cougars have won four games by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Tuesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Cooper hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .356. However, it's not like Greenwood struggles in that department as they've averaged .339. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Cooper took their victory against Greenwood when the teams last played back in March of 2021 by a conclusive 16-3. Does Cooper have another victory up their sleeve, or will Greenwood turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
