Volleyball Recap: Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] Beats Wallace for Their Third Straight Win

Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Wallace Wildcats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 back in September.

Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] wouldn't go down easily and took Wallace into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-17, 28-26, 18-25, 16-14.

Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] found their leader in freshman Jurnee Harris, who had 12 digs. Those 12 digs set a new season-high mark for Harris. Noelle Rand also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 20 aces. They are 4-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood]'s win bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Wallace, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-15.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] will host Sandhills Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Wallace, they will welcome South Platte at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
