Magee is 9-0 against Seminary since January of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Magee Trojans will be staying on the road to face off against the Seminary Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Magee has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Nicole Sandifer continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 30 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it 24 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Magee's points. Kyndall Rogers was another key contributor, scoring five points along with six rebounds and three blocks.
Meanwhile, Seminary's recent rough patch got a bit rougher last Thursday after their third straight loss. They fell 42-33 to Hazlehurst. While losing is never fun, Seminary can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 267th, while Hazlehurst is ranked 123rd).
Magee's win bumped their record up to 8-16. As for Seminary, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.
Everything went Magee's way against Seminary when the teams last played on January 5th as Magee made off with a 73-53 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Magee since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
