 On the hitting side,  Zoey Winland and  Ava Giovinazzo did most of the damage at the plate:  Winland  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-4, while  Giovinazzo  scored a  run while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of  Layne Kincaid, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-3.
 Meanwhile,  even though Wirt County scored an imposing ten runs on Monday, Ravenswood still came out on top. Ravenswood walked away with  a   15-10  win over Wirt County. Ravenswood's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
 St. Marys pushed their record up to 12-0 with that  victory, which was their ninth straight  at home dating back to last season. As for Ravenswood, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.
 St. Marys beat Ravenswood 4-0  in their previous matchup  last Monday. The rematch might be a little tougher for St. Marys since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
