For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Jefferson County has managed all season.
Jefferson County pushed their record up to 6-8 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.8 points per game. As for Wesson, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jefferson County's road trip will continue as they head out to face Port Gibson at 7:30 p.m. on January 5th. Port Gibson is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games. As for Wesson, they will head out on the road to face off against South Pike at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. South Pike has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 1-2 during that stretch of close contests.
