Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pembroke). They never let the Alexander Trojans get on the board and left with a 13-0 victory on Thursday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Dragons needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.
Not much got past Hayden Williams, who gave up just three hits and racked up 11 Ks to keep Alexander off the board.
On the hitting side, Brayden Lang was a standout: he went 1-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Kylan Ball was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
