Kali Maddock was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three stolen bases, and two RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Olivia Zimar, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases.
Meanwhile, Naples came tearing into Friday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 13-9 win over the Panthers.
Emily Lester was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched six innings while giving up three earned (and six unearned) runs off eight hits. Lester was also big at the plate, getting on base in two of her four plate appearances with two runs.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Abigail Hall, who went 1-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. She also brought in two RBI, marking her first of the season. Mia Betrus was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs.

Monday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Campbell-Savona has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .541. However, it's not like Naples struggles in that department as they've averaged .457. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Campbell-Savona's way against Naples when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Campbell-Savona made off with an 8-0 win. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Big Green Machines turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
