South Oak Cliff has enjoyed a four-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on the Molina Jaguars at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully South Oak Cliff is not getting complacent considering they own a much higher rank in Texas (they are ranked 263rd, while Molina is ranked 1161st).
Last Friday, South Oak Cliff beat Hillcrest 51-44.
Meanwhile, Molina came into Friday's game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They put the hurt on Adamson with a sharp 53-29 victory last Friday. The win was just what Molina needed coming off of a 83-21 loss in their prior contest.
South Oak Cliff pushed their record up to 15-10 with that victory, which was their 11th straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.3 points per game. As for Molina, their win bumped their record up to 6-18.
Everything came up roses for South Oak Cliff against Molina in their previous meeting back in January as the team secured a 78-51 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for South Oak Cliff since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
