Fans got a thrill when Ty Richardson and Conner Sullivan connected against Empire. The connection was good for 66 yards, the longest such play in A District 4 this season.
Ringling extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Bray-Doyle, 15-0. The victory was the seventh in a row for the team.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Donkeys' Cody Watson and Rodney Hall have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-0 quarterback Watson has thrown for 519 yards this season, while Hall has 17 catches for 255 yards. Sarian Smith from Velma-Alma leads the league in rushing with 725 yards.
At the moment, the Comets are in third, while Healdton is in fourth.
Wilson lost to Walters 59-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.
