The biggest upset of the week belonged to Indiana, who took down 232nd ranked Hollidaysburg, 17-13.
Franklin Regional took down Derry 62-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Nico Lodovico threw for 93 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 16 yards in the win.
Knoch's dynamic duo of Dakota Bruggeman and Michael Cunningham proved tough for Highlands to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Bruggeman threw for 265 yards and three touchdowns and Cunningham had 135 yards receiving. Adam Albert helped Knoch's passing attack out by catching one ball for 71 yards.
Joshua Schultheis was the most productive running back in WPIAL AAA Northeastern this week. In 33 carries, he ran for 174 yards as Mars topped the Golden Rams. Owen Nearhoof also contributed to the rushing game with 35 yards on the ground.
5-foot-8 quarterback Jon Nigro of Hampton is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1152. He has also thrown six touchdowns. On the ground, the Fightin' Planets' Schultheis has rushed for 1395 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Josh Wannarnaker. The Derry star has 35 catches for 543 yards.
The Panthers led the league in scoring this week after putting up 62 points on the Trojans. Lodovico in the win.
