Basketball Recap: Foundation Christian Academy Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Calvin Griffin and Caleb Hagan

Foundation Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 63-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lighthouse Private Christian Academy Stingrays.

Foundation Christian Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Caleb Hagan and Calvin Griffin. Hagan dropped a double-double on 26 points and 11 rebounds, while Griffin posted 17 points and five boards. Hagan's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Foundation Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Lighthouse Private Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 5-9.

Foundation Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 66-45 victory against St. Petersburg Catholic on the 18th. Lighthouse Private Christian Academy has also already played their next contest (against St. Edward's), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
