Everything went Ketchikan's way against Valdez on Friday as the team secured a 77-0 win. Ketchikan was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
The victory bumped Ketchikan's record up to 2-0. The loss dropped Valdez's record to 0-2.
Next week, Ketchikan take on Nikiski at 5:00 PM. As for Valdez, they will face of against Seward. Neither Valdez nor Seward could muster much offensive firepower in their last games, so look to the defense to decide this one.
