Even though the Navarre Raiders scored an imposing 55 points on Wednesday, the Crestview Bulldogs still came out on top. Crestview was the clear victor by a 78-55 margin over Navarre. That's another feather in the cap for Crestview, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
It was another big night for Makhi Jones, who scored 32 points along with 8 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Crestview's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lorenzo Blackwell, who scored 16 points.
Navarre's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Jonah Forrest, who scored 18 points, and Darius Cunningham who scored 20 points along with 9 rebounds. The match was Cunningham's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Jayden Hobbs was another key contributor, scoring 8 points.
The victory got Crestview back to even at 2-2. As for Navarre, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
Crestview will head out on the road to face off against Niceville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Navarre, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Tate at 7:00 p.m. on December 8th.
