Bishop Rosecrans is 4-0 against Miller since December of 2021, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Bishop Rosecrans Bishops will head out on the road to face off against the Miller Falcons at 7:00 p.m. Bishop Rosecrans is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
Last Wednesday, Bishop Rosecrans was beaten by Wellington School 40-8. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Bishop Rosecrans has scored all season.
They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of
Maddie Bernett and
Abby Sagan, who each put up three points.
Meanwhile, Miller's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They took a 46-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of Wellington School. While losing is never fun, Miller can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 696th, while Wellington School is ranked 167th).
Miller's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Alivea Lunning, who scored 11 points, and Heather West who scored seven points along with five rebounds. Those 11 points set a new season-high mark for her.
Bishop Rosecrans' record is now 1-4. Miller's record is now 1-6.
Everything came up roses for Bishop Rosecrans against Miller in their previous meeting back in January as the squad secured a 53-16 win. With Bishop Rosecrans ahead 25-4 at the half, the game was all but over already.
