After losing to Ooltewah the last time they met, McMinn Central decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play.  Ayden Plemons made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching four innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits. Plemons was also solid in the batter's box,  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances with two  stolen bases and two  runs. He has been hot, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last five times he's  played.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Corbyn Frisbie, who  went 3-for-5 with five  RBI, two  runs,  and one  stolen base. That's the most  hits  he has posted  over his last nine  contests. The team also got some help courtesy of  Hunter Rayburn, who  went 3-for-5 with three  runs and one  stolen base.
McMinn Central is  on a roll lately: they've  won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record  this season. As for Ooltewah,  the  defeat snapped their winning streak at six games  and leaves them with a 17-9-1 record.
