On Friday, Ripon Christian are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Summerville at 5:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
Ripon Christian were fully in charge last Thursday, breezing past Riverbank 49-0. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-0.
Meanwhile, Summerville couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost to Mariposa County by a decisive 0-18 margin.
Ripon Christian's win lifted them to 2-0 while Summerville's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Ripon Christian can add another positive mark to their record or if Summerville can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Ripon Christian's step.
