The Burns Broncs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 12th straight loss. They were beaten by Bridgeport 76-36. Burns has struggled against Bridgeport recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Bridgeport was led to victory by Logan Metz and Kolby Lussetto. Metz dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds, while Lussetto scored 23 points. Lussetto continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Dean, who scored nine points.
Burns' loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Bridgeport, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3.
Burns is on the road again on Saturday and play against Shoshoni at 4:00 p.m. on January 13th. As for Bridgeport, they will challenge Kimball at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Kimball is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
