The Argonia Red Raiders can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They managed a 58-52 win over Udall. That's another feather in the cap for Argonia, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Argonia got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Carson Vineyard out in front who scored 20 points along with five rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Vineyard has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Dalton Morrison, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Despite the loss, Udall still got an impressive performance from Jenson Harness, who scored 26 points along with five rebounds. That was a full 50% of Udall's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Jordan Hornecker was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Udall struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Argonia racked up 15 assists.
Argonia's win bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Udall, they dropped their record down to 3-9 with that defeat, which was their ninth straight at home.
