Legacy Charter has been on the road for two straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Mount Dora Christian Academy Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Despite their loss, Legacy Charter saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Mallory Daniels, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and five steals, was perhaps the best of all. Daniels scored a full 48.5% of Legacy Charter's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashlyn Kraus, who scored 13 points along with eight steals.
Meanwhile, Mount Dora Christian Academy was beaten by Leesburg 44-16 on Thursday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Mount Dora Christian Academy has scored all season.
Legacy Charter bumped their record down to 1-2 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Mount Dora Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.
