Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Cocoa Tigers walked away with it. They enjoyed a cozy 20-6 win over the Tornadoes on Friday. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points Cocoa has scored all year.
Brady Hart threw for 242 yards and a touchdown while completing 71.1% of his passes.
Nicholas Teeter was his top target, picking up 83 receiving yards and a touchdown. On the ground,
Latrison Lane rushed for 50 yards and a touchdown.
Several Tornadoes players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Dae'jon ?6ixx? shanks, who threw for 69 yards and a touchdown.
Even if they lost, Bradford's defense still kept up the pressure with four sacks. Torin Brazell was especially locked on to Cocoa's QB and sacked him twice.
The victory was the 12th in a row for Cocoa, bringing their record for this year to 14-1. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 32.25 points. As for Bradford, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-1.
Cocoa does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bradford also has no future games currently scheduled.
