The Harrisburg Bulldogs will look to take advantage of their home-pitch for the first time this season as they take on the Massac County Patriots  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Both  are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
 Harrisburg is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Vienna/Goreville. Harrisburg blew past Vienna/Goreville 5-2 on Thursday. With the Bulldogs ahead  3-0 at the half, the  contest was all but over already.
 They hit Vienna/Goreville with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from 
 Ray Chandler (2), 
 Xavier Castros, and 
 Adrian Mann.
 Meanwhile, Massac County kept a clean sheet against St. Mary  on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp  6-0 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what the Patriots needed considering they were shutout in their previous   matchup.
 Harrisburg might still be hurting after the  3-0 loss they got from Massac County  when the teams last played  back in September of 2023. Can Harrisburg avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
