The Ada-Borup Cougars put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They took down Park Christian 70-56. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ada-Borup to victory, but perhaps none more so than Charles Scholl, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and six steals. Another player making a difference was Austin McCraven, who scored 17 points along with three steals.
Ada-Borup pushed their record up to 10-0 with that win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 22.78 points. As for Park Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ada-Borup's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Henning at 4:45 p.m. on January 13th. One thing working in Henning's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five games. As for Park Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Hillcrest Lutheran Academy at 5:30 p.m. Hillcrest Lutheran Academy is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last ten games.
